LinkedIn has added 100 million new members since its successful IPO back in March 2011, with some its fastest-growing user communities being overseas. Check out this week's best and worst performers.

The AlwaysOn X Fund portfolio advanced 2.0% for the week, the NASDAQ advanced 0.8%, and the S&P 500 was up 0.4%. Year to date, the AO X Fund is up 5.8%, the NASDAQ is up 3.5%, and the S&P 500 is up 3.2%.

LinkedIn announced it has now reached 200 million members, currently adding 172,800 new users per day on average. The professional network had crossed the 100 million mark back in March 2011, just before its successful IPO. Its current member base has 74 million in the U.S., 18 million in India, 11 million in the U.K., 11 million in Brazil, and 7 million in Canada. Some of the fastest growing geographies are Turkey, Colombia, and Indonesia. the fastest mobile growth is seen in China, Brazil, Portugal, India, and Italy. For the week, LNKD advanced 4.3%.

Herbalife’s stock went through a rollercoaster, as multiple events sent the stock up and down. Less than a month after Bill Ackman’s comments on a potential HLF Ponzi scheme sent the stock crashing, hedge fund manager Daniel Loeb from Third Point unveiled an 8.2% stake in Herbalife and sent its shares surging. The company then hosted a presentation, defending itself on all accusations made by Bill Ackman. While we are cautious, we do believe that Herbalife is a fundamentally strong and correct business and will hold our small position at current levels. For the week, HLF advanced 8.2%

We added a 2% position in solar system designer and recent IPO SolarCity. Management raised its 2013 guidance and expects to deploy 250MW, which will represent 60% YoY growth. While the stock is trading at a rich 9.3x P/S, we like the exceptional high growth in this sector.
